Past and Future Meet
Event: First AME ZionInterviewer: Saba
Whom did you interview?
I had the pleasure to interact with an elderly woman named Hazel who had been a been of the First AME Zion Church for over 20 years. My group and I had the opportunity to ask questions about her environment growing up and how it may connect to today’s climate changes. I remember her mentioning how materialistic this generation is and the generations before us.
How did your EcoTypes and SDG priorities compare? Our ecotypes compared in terms of how we look at old knowledge and science to get a better understanding of today’s climate. We did not get a chance to do the SDG’S.
What larger MCJD lessons did you learn? The larger MCJD lesson I drew from my interaction at the church was that as the environment changes and the world changes so must we in order to adapt and to keep up with anthropegenic changes.
